Course description
This course comprises a survey of the Australian legal system together with environmental law and regulation. This is undertaken from a critical viewpoint exterior to the law. Australia employs a combination of approaches - command and control, economic incentives and an extended property rights system - effecting a hybrid parallel management system, to achieve specific environmental goals.
