Industrial relations in Australia and the conciliation and arbitration system are the prime concern of this course. Other topics include industrial relations theory, industrial unrest, the role of management and the State, trade unions and employer associations, wage fixation, workplace industrial relations, industrial democracy and equal employment opportunity.
