HMSC19027 Literature, Research and Policy Analysis
Course description
All students will undertake a directed reading program in their area of specialisation. This course develops the student's abilities to critically analyse and interpret policies, policy development procedures, research findings and experimental design as presented through government publications, policy statements, journal articles, thesis and other scholarly literature. The course will focus upon the role of the consumer of research publications and policy statements and the gap that exists between the dissemination of literature and the utilisation and understanding of research findings and policy statements.
