HMSC12007 Exercise and Work Physiology
Course description
An introduction to body adaptations to exercise and an examination of training in terms of cardiorespiratory fitness, strength, muscle speed, local muscle endurance, flexibility and aspects of body fat composition. An exploration of the physiological adaptations to physical work and exercise in the context of sport and the workplace. It is a requirement of this course to have access to the CQU website and Internet.
Note: All external students are required to attend a compulsory 5-day residential school at CQU Rockhampton.
