Course description

The course will introduce students to the etiology of lifestyle-related diseases with a focus on physical activity and exercise. The course will present information relating to the physical and mental health benefits of physical activity, the definition and measurement of physical activity and exercise for the purpose of health-related research/study, the factors that influence the physical activity habits of individuals and whole populations, and the modification of physical activity habits of individuals and whole populations. It is a requirement of this course to have access to the CQU website and Internet.
