Course description
The purpose of this course is to provide the student with a broad based knowledge and understanding of key features concerning the contemporary organisation and management of health care services. Students are provided with opportunities to apply the various management and organisational principles to their own work situation. Topics covered include aspects of health economics, performance measurement, quality strategic and financial planning, budgeting, cost management, factors affecting work practices, information systems, management psychology, selected legal issues, an overview to industrial relations, marketing and public relations
