Course description
This course introduces the student to the theories and processes involved in determining the incidence, prevalence, spread, prevention and control of diseases and injury within communities or specified groups. The relationship of the practice of epidemiology is related to industrial, community and service programs of infection control, health maintenance and accident prevention.
