GEOG24027 Intro to Raster Analysis
Course description
This course will develop basic abilities to employ raster-based data in geographic information systems. Students will study the basic techniques in the creation, editing, manipulation, analysis and presentation of raster-bsed spatial data. Basic abilities will be developed to use such data to produce maps and GIS layers, and to interpret remote sensing information. Stress will be placed on appreciating the practical utility of maps, GIS and remote sensing for research and problem solving.
