GEOG19022 Graphic and Cartographic Techniques

Course description

This course will develop abilities to use graphic materials to aid in communicating information to technical and non-technical audiences. Students will learn to design and produce various kinds of statistical and other graphs, maps, systems diagrams, tables, charts and other ways of illustrating information as a means of improving communication. Design principles will be emphasised. Practice will be developed through a variety of self-assessed and formally assessed exercises.
