Course description
This course is designed to familiarise students with the basic concepts and procedures involved in the formulation, evaluation and assessment of environmental and social impact studies. Students will examine the methods by which physical and ecological processes are incorporated into political and other regulatory frameworks and how human impacts can be mitigated in the dynamic and increasingly important field of environmental and social impact assessment.
