ENTM13008 Mechanical/Electrical Drives

Course description

This course introduces students to the principles and practices of electro-mechanical energy conversion, as well as the application of variable speed drives in industry. The course is primarily designed for students studying the mechanical engineering streams. It assumes that students have no prior knowledge of electrical technology principles apart from the laws of physics governing electricity and magnetism.
