ENTC13007 Concrete and Masonry Structures
Course description
This course covers the following areas in reinforced concrete design: load calculations, simplified methods to analyse beams and one-way slabs, and the design of reinforced concrete beams, slabs and columns. It also covers the following areas in masonry design: unreinforced and partially reinforced walls in bending, wall subjected in in-plane and out-of-plane shear, walls under compression, and non-structural design aspects of walls.
