ENPO20013 Professional Issues in Process Management
Course description
This course will introduce the key legal and professional issues that process engineers must be familiar with, understand and manage in their roles as process supervisors, project engineers and managers. Key themes of the course will be (i) identifying which issues are present in any particular situation, (ii) understanding the limits of their knowledge and expertise and (iii) seeking support and advice from professionals with the necessary specialised knowledge. The course material will focus on the development of sufficient technical knowledge identify and understand the issues and the application of this knowledge will focus the ability to make sound judgments with respect to the limitations of their expertise and methodologies for seeking effective advice and support.
