ENEV20001 Air Quality Management I

Course description

This course will give a straightforward and modern introduction to air pollution, air pollution meteorology and air quality management from an Australian viewpoint. The emphasis will be on practical applications rather than underlying theory. Within this course, you will learn about the nature of air pollution, its behaviour and meteorological determinants, how to measure and identify pollutants and their source, as well as the methods of controlling the level and type of emissions (point and area source). You will also learn about the legislative and occupational health and safety issues as well as the principles of conducting effective air quality audits.
