ENEM12001 Fluid Mechanics

Course description

The principle aim of the course in fluid mechanics is to provide students with an understanding of the properties of fluids and to introduce fundamental laws and description of fluid behaviour and flow. The student is expected to gain a working knowledge of concepts such as pressure, density, viscosity, pipe flow, pressure losses and practical methods of analysing problems involving fluid systems. The course content is therefore essential for many of the more specialised subjects to be studied later in the Bachelor of Engineering course.
