Course description

This course aims to introduce students to the principles of electromagnetic and electromechanical energy conversion in static and dynamic electrical machines; the fundamental working principles of power electronics; and the application of electrical drives. In addition, students will be exposed to calculations with the electrical machines modelled as power system components
