EDVT12003 Contemporary Issues in Vet
Course description
This course deals with issues related to contemporary policies and practices in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. It examines the contexts of vocational education and training, its policy and provision, as well as the history and political economy of VET. Educators in the VET sector engage with people from many different walks of life; of all ages, cultures and creeds. In your initial training in instructional studies, you may have already discussed the topic of `the contexts of workplace training'. This course has been designed to extend your knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues from local, national and international contexts as you examine, analyse and evaluate specific issues.
