Course description

This course will provide university teachers with the means to examine their negotiation of content, structures, assessment and resources employed in their teaching and critically investigate the cultural givens of teaching in specific disciplines. The course will provide a basis for rethinking the design, development, conduct and evaluation of a teaching program or scheme of work. The course lays the basis for developing practices and habits of mind in the university teacher to support the development of reflective professional practice. The teaching examined in this course will be selected from the university teacher's teaching agenda.
