Course description
The role and application of new media in the Creative Industries is examined in this course. The course involves cultural analysis and evaluation of real-time, immediacy and disintermediation, the commercial impact of film and television drawdown, and the effects of digital broadcasting, publishing and music in the context of Arts Administration.
The course aims to provide a new media reference for the Arts Administrator, to develop critical and creative thinking appropriate for the attainment of the Masters degree, and to apply that thinking to the resolution of complex problems concerning the role of new media in the Creative Industries.
