EDED20443 Essential Skills for Arts Administrators
Course description
This course evaluates the production, direction and project management roles of the Arts Administrator with reference to working with agents, hiring and managing creative artists, promoting arts and artists, liaising with authors, composers, producers and directors, and planning and budgeting production schedules for publications, films, broadcasts, and theatre, record and video productions.
The course aims to provide a solid skill base for the Arts Administrator, to develop critical and creative thinking appropriate for the attainment of the Masters degree, and to apply that thinking to the resolution of complex problems concerning the production of the Creative Industries.
