EDED20441 Contemporary Arts Administration Culture
Course description
This course evaluates culture and the Creative Arts in the twenty-first century with particular reference the way in which the Creative Arts influence culture and organisation. The course involves analysis and evaluation of cultural theory and practice with orientation to the Creative Industries including film and television, design, new media, and performance.
The course aims to provide a solid reference base for the Arts Administrator, to develop critical and creative thinking appropriate for the attainment of the Masters degree, and to apply that thinking to the resolution of complex problems concerning the role of the Creative Industries in contemporary culture.
