Course description
This module provides candidates with the theoretical concepts to develop a framework for analysing and evaluating the translation of ideas into product and to embellish the product for market positioning in their research area. The purpose of this module is to provide doctoral candidates with theory and practice relevant to creating product in the doctoral candidate's area of research and the processes to market these. Upon successful completion of this module, doctoral candidates should be able to: Apply and analyse creative thinking strategies to the candidate's area of research; Develop a framework for conceptualising the shift from idea to product realisation; Conceptualise and evaluate a product development process in the candidate's area of research; Analyse potential product embellishments in the candidate's area of research including the application of web based protocols and platforms.
