EDED20299 Professional Practicum

Course description

Students normally complete this course (equivalent to a minor thesis or dissertation) when all other courses in the schedule are completed. The course is therefore the culmination of the courses studied throughout the program and may be presented in a variety of ways such as a dissertation, or a non-print media presentation with accompanying text. Various research methods may be used such as action research, case study or empirical research. The Practicum is intended to be research by students on their own work or practice. Students will draw directly upon the other courses completed in their program. The research topic is negotiated with the student's supervisor and must be approved by the Dean of the Faculty.
