EDED20297 School Personnel and Organisational Management
Course description
An understanding of current personnel, human resources and organisational management practices in educational settings is systematically developed in this course. Current human resource and organisational management practices are evaluated in relation to theories used in educational administration. The course consists of two core modules: (1) the school as an organisation; and (2) personnel management in educational settings. Option modules deal with: Total Quality Management (TQM), the Self- Managing School, and gender and personnel.
