EDED20289 The Research Process in Education

Course description

Research in education is explored through five key dimensions: the researcher and the researched; theoretical perspectives on research; research strategies; data collection and data analysis and interpretation. The core modules in the course provide a basis for progression towards planning a research proposal and preparing a substantive paper on research methodology. Option modules within the course include statistical analysis, critical ethnography, case study research and policy research.
