Course description

Selected integrating concepts from the biological sciences are explored in this course. The emphasis is upon broad conceptual ideas such as 'Energy Flow in the Environment' which canvass a range of topics such as Respiration, Metabolism, Photosynthesis, and so on. These conceptual areas are developed using a problem solving approach designed to help students acquire personally relevant and meaningful knowledge.
