Course description

This course attempts to uncover the hierarchical and integrated structures of mathematics, by reviewing the recurring themes and thinking processes inherent in the structure of mathematics itself. Basic mathematical structures covered P-10 school mathematics are investigated, including mathematical thinking, the structure and nature of number, and principles of whole number numeration.
