EDED12347 Inclusive Educational Strategies
Course description
Teachers require broad knowledge of how to help those children who may require special educational help. On completion of this course, student teachers should have a comprehensive overview of the range of pupils with special educational help. Student teachers will know how to identify these pupils and assess their individual needs, as well as beginning to meet such needs. The course draws on themes introduced in earlier courses and covers the whole range of children with special needs, with an emphasis on practical approaches to managing the inclusive classrooms.
