EDED11403 The Entrepreneurial Professional

Course description

This course engages with the challenging professional environment within which we now work, and focuses particularly on the skills necessary to position oneself as a 'futures' leader in various settings. This course focuses on the knowledge and skill background necessary to convert creativity and innovation into entrepreneurial activity. Models of entrepreneurial endeavours are analysed for the patterns of behaviours and mindsets that characterize entrepreneurial behaviour. Students are expected to demonstrate such patterns in structured 'portal task' experiences where entrepreneurialism in a chosen need driven environment is implemented in a real world setting.
