Course description

Professional Knowledge and Practice is the fourth in the suite of Learning Management courses. This course provides student learning managers with 'tools' for designing and delivering learning strategies to achieve student learning outcomes in schools and other learning sites. PKP progressively develops and enhances insights into the appropriate contextual use of a number of teaching methods so that the intellectual quality of learning experiences is enhanced. The course deals with strategies of pedagogical observation and critique using a coaching feedback model. The course will focus on 1. the 8 Learning Management Questions, specifically questions 4,5 and 6. This framework provides for the underpinning knowledge and strategies that students require if they are to achieve outcomes for each learner, and 2. The Dimensions of Learning framework, specifically Dimension 3, as instructional design
