Course description
This course is an introduction to electronic commerce - a term which means the sharing of business information, maintaining business relationships, and conducting business transactions by means of telecommunications networks. Topics studied include electronic payment systems, security issues, business strategies, management issues such as ethics and legal requirements, technology standards and protocols. Students research relevant topics associated with electronic commerce and submit detailed presentations and critiques. NOTE: Access to the Internet is required for this course.
