COMM19045 Communication Honours Thesis/Project A (P/T)

Course description

In this course, and the following course COMM19046 students develop their research skills and scholarly training in a specific communication field, such as professional communication, journalism, media, film, cultural studies or multimedia. Students research and write a 15 000 to 25 000 word dissertation or carry out equivalent project work plus a report. NOTE: Students should consult the Honours coordinator early in the academic year regarding an appropriate project. The topic allocation will be dependent on the availability of an appropriate supervisor. COMM 19045 and COMM19046 must be studied consecutively. Students are unable to study either course individually. Marks will not be awarded until both courses are completed.
