COMM12018 Public Relations Practice

Course description

This course examines public relations research, planning and program management in depth. Students apply techniques in situation analysis and public relations audits to real organizations and prepare comprehensive programs to the implementation stage. The relevance of public relations to shaping the corporate image, to the marketing plan and to the task of working with management will be examined. Topics of growing importance to PR professionals such as Asia - Pacific relations, investor/financial relations and public relations and the Internet will be explored. NOTE: This course was previously named 'Public Relations B'.
