COIS20024 Systems Management Overview

Course description

On completion of this course students should possess a sound knowledge of basic concepts relating to the use of computer hardware, software and computer- based information systems in a business environment. The emphasis in the course is the understanding of management issues concerning information systems and how they can assist in providing enterprise solutions. NOTE: Access to the Internet is highly desirable as Internet use is an integral part of the teaching strategy. Students who are unable to arrange Internet access must contact the program coordinator before the commencement of Week 2.
