Course description
Qualitative Methodology is associated with specific ontological, epistemological and theoretical traditions. This course examines the theoretical paradigms that use qualitative methodology, the associated methods of data collection (for example, participant observation, in-depth interviews,...) and data analysis (for example, grounded theory analysis, successive approximation, taxonomy building,...) and various computer software packages utilised in a qualitative methodology as well as the genres used to report research using a qualitative methodology.
