Course description
This course provides an overview of the diversity and life histories of photosynthetic (bacterial, algal, plant) and fungal life, and an overview of the anatomy and physiology of the 'higher plants'. The student will be able to identify organisms to division level, interpret specific life cycles, interpret anatomical sections in terms of cell type, tissue and organ, and interpret plant aantomical and physiological features in the context of their environment.
