Course description

This course will cover the following content areas: Site procedures and Processes relating to: Regulation, code and safety responsibilities. Staff training. Temporary works and structure. Site establishment, planning, management and administration. Relocation and location of services. Construction for disassembly. Waste management and minimisation. It will be assessed through the application of the student's overall knowledge of construction management processes and methods to a project-based research report. The student will be required to bring together knowledge gained from the various courses in the course to demonstrate an understanding of the practical application of this knowledge in an effective way, and their ability to integrate and communicate this knowledge.
