Course description

This course covers the broad building regulatory framework, including: Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia (BCA); studies of constructional systems for conventional high rise buildings (up to thirty stories) and for "tall" (ultra high rise, (UHR)) buildings (beyond one hundred stories); the development and implementation of innovative building practices; and the diagnosis and rectification of common building faults.
