ACCT20052 Financial Accounting

Course description

This course provides an introduction to the conceptual framework of financial accounting, and shows how these concepts are applied in recording, classifying and reporting of business transactions in the traditional historical cost system of accounting. These basic accounting concepts are then used in cash management, merchandising, receivables, inventory management, and accounting for non-current assets and for liabilities. MYOB accounting package is used in this course. Access to internet computer facilities is highly recommended.
