This course is based on the premise that the provision of satisfying experiences in recreation and tourism, and the related allocation of resources of all types, increasingly depends upon the formulation of plans. The course gives emphasis to the various stages of planning from the setting of goals and objectives, through implementation, to the stage of monitoring and evaluating results and outcomes from the perspectives of users and resources. Students will gain practical experience in applying process stages to their own project work in completing assignments in this course.
