The aim of this course is to equip engineering students with practical and theoretical statistical tools, which they can use in decision making in engineering design and management works that have elements of uncertainty. The topics covered in this course include, inter alia, practical tools such as total quality management, statistical process control, and experimental design and theoretical tools such as probabilty distributions, statistical inferencing, and non-parametric analysis.
