This course, which follows on from the work covered in the course Religious Experience and Texts, continues to address the needs of students wishing to teach religious education in private (including Catholic) or government schools, by providing further opportunities for students to develop a broad adult knowledge-base and understanding of religious beliefs and practices. The course will explore the development of Christian traditions and rituals, offer a special study of sacramental theology and liturgy, and engage the students in critical reflection of contemporary issues and experiences in light of traditional religious beliefs and practices.
