The course will combine 12 hours of on-campus instruction and 48 hours of off-campus (unpaid) work experience in a HR environment. The on-campus instruction will cover issues of professional practice, consulting skills, ethical standards relevant to the profession and a realistic preview of what to expect during the off-campus practical experience placement. The off-campus practical experience will consist of structured tasks and activities in private work sites in the local community. Flexibility of practice arrangements will depend on both employers' and students' needs and constraints.
