FINC19011 Business Finance

A study of the investment, financing and dividend decisions of firms. Simple normative models are advanced whereby optimum decisions can be made in each of the three areas under conditions of certainty. The theoretical operation of debt and equity markets is also studied. The financial modelling language DSS is introduced and used to solve case study problems pertaining to the investment decision.
