ENEE12002 Embedded Processor Systems Design
This is a project-based course which develops
a wide range of knowledge and skills related to the commercial design
of embedded microprocessor systems. Specifically, students are expected
to:
- understand the hardware and
software restrictions and trade-offs imposed in low cost microprocessor design;
- be able to write structured assembly level and C++ programs
for embedded microprocessor applications;
- be able to use in-circuit emulators and other methods
to verify the performance of an embedded processor system;
- be able to produce CAD schematic drawings and printed
circuit board, (PCB) artwork; understand the documentation requirements
for an electronic design;
- have improved self-management, teamwork and communications
skills.
