This course provides students with a comprehensive coverage of hydrology and environmental engineering with practical involvement in a case study in water resources planning.
Hydrology will include: precipitation analyses, groundwater flow theory and applications, surface flow measurements and analyses, probability in hydrology, principles of urban drainage.
Environmental engineering will include: environmental impact and economic assessment in relation to water resources, and environmental ethics. Projects will develop skills and practical understanding of the fundamentals of hydrological and environmental engineering.
