By examining a political history of early childhood, students engage with issues of active and informed citizenship, feminist views of the state, and the feminisation of care and early education in the public and private domain. Developing skills of advocacy and policy analysis is intended to lead students to an informed perspective on the early childhood field and to formulate a vision for early childhood.
