COIT11166 Systems Analysis and Design

This course develops knowledge of basic systems analysis and design techniques including feasibility studies, fact-finding techniques, data and process modelling, broad systems design, project management and quality assurance. A range of development methods is presented, including both structured and object-oriented approaches. The application of these methods to current systems such as Web Information Systems is considered. Students must have access to the Internet, and project management software, such as MS Project.
