This course provides an introduction to modern biology through a consideration of the diversity, classification, anatomy and physiology of living organisms. Emphasis is placed on a consideration of the Kingdom Plantae, Division Anthophyta ("higher plants"). This course serves as a prerequisite for advanced plant science subjects.
