Postgraduate Course Information

PSYC13015 Advanced Methods in Psychology

This course provides students with analytic skills necessary for carrying our advanced applied research. The primary aim of the course is to introduce students to a variety of analytic techniques (eg. ANOVA, MANOVA, Factor Analysis and Multiple Regression) as well as a choice of appropriate analyses relevant to the specific design. The course provides for both theoretical input and a heavy component of computer ’hands-on' experiential exercises. The use of the SPSS software programme will be emphasised. It is a requirement of enrolment that students have access to the CQU website via the Internet.
